From 9:00-11:30 on November 1, 2022, the second Automotive CO₂ Heat Pump Air Conditioning and Heat Management System Technical Seminar Forum was held online, co-sponsored by Vehicle Thermal Management Working Committee of China Refrigeration Society and Automotive Air Conditioning Branch of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, and co-hosted by Dongfeng Motor Group Co., LTD. Technology Center and Xi 'an Jiaotong University. Sanhua, as a global leader in new energy vehicle thermal management technology and innovative solutions, sponsored and attended the conference online.

Under the guidance of curbing global warming and realizing the goal of "dual carbon", new energy vehicles have entered a period of rapid development. It is urgent to realize the energy saving and emission reduction of the thermal management (air conditioning) system of new energy vehicles and improve the driving range. With the wide application of heat pump system, promoting refrigerant transformation and energy efficiency improvement in the automotive industry has become the common wish of the industry.

The forum was attended by a large number of experts, including Sun Fengchun, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Beijing Institute of Technology, to give keynote presentations, which attracted great attention from the industry. Nearly 10,000 people participated in the conference online. The conference was presided over by Professor Cao Feng from Xi 'an Jiaotong University and Professor Tian Changqing from Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Experts presented reports on hot topics in the industry, such as the outlook of new energy vehicles, interpretation of refrigerant replacement policies, CO₂ heat pump system under China's two-carbon strategy, R744 industrialization in the automobile market, and HFCS replacement technology in the automobile industry.

In the next main session of the seminar, Dr. Zhang Rongrong, Chief Technology Officer of Sanhua Academia Academia, will make the keynote report "Sanhua CO₂ Key parts and System Application", and bring Sanhua CO₂ heat pump system solution.

Previously, Sanhua joined the Technical Guidance Expert Group of China Joint Development Plan of HFC-Alternative Technology for Automotive air Conditioning, participated in the discussion and revision of the Development Route of Carbon Neutral Refrigeration Technology - Chapter 8 Thermal Management and Equipment for Electric Vehicles, and participated in the compilation of the Development White Paper of Carbon Dioxide Heat Pump.
